The Oschatzer Stadtlauf, also known as the Autohaus Hirth Stadtlauf, is a small spring road race held in Oschatz, Saxony, Germany, beginning at Berufsschulstrasse 20. It features multiple distances instead of a single main event: 10.5 km, 8.1 km, 3.5 km, and a 1.8 km health run, alongside a Bambini race for the youngest participants. The children's race begins the day, followed by the short health run, with the three longer races commencing together at 10:00. Entry fees are kept low; pupils and youth pay less than adults, while Bambini and health-run participants are free.
The race is included in both the EZEL-Cup Nordsachsen und Duebener Heide and the Mittelsaechsische Lauftour, attracting local club runners and individuals aiming for points in regional series. Field size is modest, typically between 100 and 300 participants, with recent editions seeing approximately 160 finishers. SV Fortschritt Oschatz e.V. Laufbewerbe organizes the event with assistance from club members and volunteers from the Oschatz area. Professional timing is provided by Andreas Burow, and Stefan Braeuer manages the event proceedings.
