Seitz Laufsporttag Kempten, known as LST Super Sunday, begins and concludes on Residenzplatz in Kempten, marking the start of the local running season. The schedule includes officially measured 5 km and 10 km races, preceded by children's runs of 800 metres and 1500 metres. The 5 km race starts before the 10 km, accommodating runners assessing their post-winter speed and families introducing younger participants to the morning's events.
The adult course consists of 2.5 km laps, each featuring a refreshment station, with food available in the finish area. The 10 km course is measured according to DLV rules, aligning with IAAF and AIMS standards, which is significant for participants aiming for a precise time. A notable aspect is the team competition: each team comprises two women and two men, with one pair running 10 km and the other pair running 5 km. The day concludes at the Residenz, with the top three overall finishers in both adult races recognized shortly after completing their runs.
