Sternberger Triathlon 2026

The Sternberger Triathlon begins and ends at Badeanstalt Sternberger See in Sternberg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This June sprint-distance triathlon features a 750-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike leg, and a 5-kilometer run, focusing on short, compact racing. The course is set within the Sternberg Lake District, with rolling terrain and paths that loop around lakes and ponds. Both solo athletes and relay teams compete in the sprint format. The event, which includes age-group fields and a family-friendly atmosphere, also functions as the state sprint-distance championship. It is organized by the City of Sternberg in conjunction with the Triathlon Association Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
