Experience the marathon distance in a whole new way with 42.12, which combines physical challenge and mental strength. On September 7, 2024, runners are invited to complete 12 laps of a 3.520-meter route in Frederiksværk, starting and finishing at Maglehøj. For the extra brave, 42.12 offers a double challenge where participants can choose to run the double distance, meaning 24 laps of 3.520 meters. The concept is the same, but requires even more endurance and willpower. The event takes place over 12 hours, with participants completing the route each hour. Each participant gets their own waiting area in Frederiksværk-hallen for rest and preparation between laps. Changing rooms, toilets, and showers are available, and the right atmosphere is ensured with music and coziness. All participants receive a chip for timing, and catering is included, with drinks and energy available in the café. Participants bring their own main meals, and nutrition experts will be present to provide guidance.
