Σχετικά με τον αγώνα
Škoda BørneTour Nyborg is a cycling race in Nyborg, Denmark, for beginner children aged 3 to 15. It is held at Nyborg Rådhus and is part of the Škoda BørneTour, a Danish series that visits up to 30 cities from April to September, offering children a low-pressure way to try cycling from a real start line. The Nyborg race focuses on participation rather than speed: children can use any type of bike and ride with any level of ambition, provided they wear a helmet.
The Nyborg edition features short distances of 1 km, 3 km, 5 km, and 7 km, with age groups divided to separate younger and older children. Older children race for 15 minutes plus a final lap, the 5-8 group rides for 12 minutes plus a final lap, and the youngest children have their own race. The event connects with Fyen Rundt Kids Race, allowing children to ride near the same finish-line setup as the elite cycling program. Nyborg Cykle Klub organizes it with Škoda Denmark, Nyborg Kommune, and Danmarks Cykle Union. The day also includes start-number pickup, a route preview, water bottles, children’s bike and helmet displays, and families cheering at the finish.
