Barbudo Trail is a mountain running series in Jumilla, southeastern Spain, organized by Grupo Hinneni de Jumilla. Its races include Barbudo Sky Race, Barbudo Promo, and Barbudico. Barbudo Origen is a 22 km race held in December through the Sierra del Carche Regional Park. The Origen route begins at Salinas de la Rosa and includes 1,650 meters of elevation gain over a short, steep course.
The race descends quickly for its first kilometer on asphalt from the saltworks, then reaches the rambla of Barranco del Infierno before connecting to mountain paths. The primary climb follows the pino de la omblanquilla trail, ascending approximately 7.5 km with nearly 850 meters of gain. It passes an aid station at the trail crossing and the old pozo de la nieve on the shaded side of La Madama. The highest point is Pico de la Madama, the summit of Carche, at 1,371 meters, where runners find another aid station before the route uses the leñadores trail for the final descent.
