The Carrera Nocturna Villa de Pilas is a night running race held in Pilas, a town in Seville province. It begins at 9:30 p.m. from the Polideportivo Municipal Francisco Correa. This popular 8.2 km road race is organized by the Sports Delegation of the Pilas City Council, with local clubs CD Pretorianos de Pilas and CD Tor del Rey participating in some editions. The event, now in its double-digit editions, attracts over 300 runners.
The route follows town streets, not a rural trail, passing landmarks like Santa Fe, 12 de Octubre, Avenida El Aljarafe, Plaza España, Calle Feria, Nuestra Señora de Fátima, and Villamanrique. Participants will find a refreshment point along the course, several medical assistance stations, and a complimentary post-race massage service. Awards are presented to the top three men and women in each category, and all registered runners receive a commemorative technical shirt. Street closures are implemented on race night, making it a visible local event for residents as well as participants.
