Carrera Popular Nueva Bahía

The Carrera Popular Nueva Bahía is an 8 km race held in November in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz. It is organized by Asociación Nueva Bahía and is presented as a non-competitive event. Despite this, the route is approved by the Andalusian Athletics Federation, and participants can still achieve category recognition upon finishing. The race begins and ends at Casa de Los Toruños, located within the Parque Metropolitano Marisma de Los Toruños y Pinar de la Algaida. The route consists of an urban circuit within the park, passing by Levante beach and the public areas surrounding Los Toruños. Proceeds from registration fund the association’s social initiatives. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each category, along with the eldest participants who finish the race.
