The Carrera Solidaria Ruta 091 Málaga is a 5 km charity race starting at Plaza de la Marina and the Port of Málaga. Children’s races of 200 m and 500 m are also part of the event, making it suitable for families and adult runners. The adult race has a 75-minute time limit, accommodating casual runners and walkers. Entry fees contribute to the charitable and social work of Cofradía El Rico, providing assistance to Málaga families facing social exclusion, vulnerable women, and families with children diagnosed with cancer.
The route commences at Plaza de la Marina, proceeds through Palmeral de las Sorpresas and along Muelle Uno, then extends by Paseo de la Farola toward the cruise terminal. Participants will turn around at the last roundabout and retrace their path, concluding at the Port of Málaga near Plaza de la Marina. This is the seventh edition of the series, supported by volunteers and local businesses that aid the race's charitable operations. A Solidarity Bib 0 option is available for those wishing to support the cause without participating in the run.
