Copa Caja Rural BTT - Sangüesa 2026

Copa Caja Rural BTT - Sangüesa marks the Sangüesa/Zangoza stop in the five-event Copa BTT Caja Rural de Navarra, a mountain bike series held in Navarra. This race contributes to the OPEN BTT standings and is divided into two heats based on categories. The initial heat begins at 10:00 AM, featuring cadets, men’s masters 40 and 50, and all women’s categories. The second heat starts at 12:00 PM, for juniors, elites, and men’s master 30. The start and finish lines are both located at Plaza de Los Fueros - El Prau, positioning the race's central hub in the heart of Sangüesa. The competition spans from cadets up to veterans, uniting younger participants, elite competitors, masters categories, and women’s fields on the same race day. The Sangüesa course has historically delivered challenging racing, with conditions like mud and demanding terrain often leading to crashes and extending the elite event to nearly two hours.
