La Cabanera 2026

La Cabanera is a mountain trail series in Vall Fosca, Lleida Pyrenees, with races centered on La Torre de Capdella and La Pobleta de Bellveí. Held in late spring, it is part of the Vall Fosca Trail Festival. The primary long distance is the SKYRACE 30K, a 29 km high-mountain race covering 2,022 m of elevation gain across technical terrain with extended ascents. A 43 km Marató, featuring 2,900 m of gain and listed as a 50K UTMB Index race, is also offered, alongside a shorter 23 km option. This event is not for beginners; the 30K targets experienced runners, and the 12.6 km cut-off at Tossal de Peirafita emphasizes the importance of the early stages.
