The Sobrescobio Redes Trail is a mountain running event held in Ríoseco, Asturias, Spain, within the Redes Natural Park. The main event is the Sobrescobio Skyrace, covering 32.3 km with 2,100 metres of elevation gain and reaching a summit of 1,207 metres. For a shorter, intense option, the SST Speed Trail offers a 17.5 km course with 1,100 metres of ascent, beginning in Ríoseco on Sunday morning. Additionally, RedXtreme, a relay race, ensures the weekend features multiple start lines and distances.
The main Skyrace is part of the Skyrunner World Series, attracting a competitive international field to the Asturian mountains. The race also features in the Copa de Asturias de Carreras por Montaña FEMPA and is linked with the Gran Premio Caja Rural. The SST Speed Trail is locally described as the weekend's most explosive race, and it holds added significance as the U23 Final of the Trofeo Esteban Olivero. Recent results indicate the speed of the long race, with winning times under three hours, featuring athletes like Luca Del Pero, Manuel Merillas Moledo, and Antonio Martínez Pérez at the front.
