Triatlón Pálmaces takes place in the Serranías de Guadalajara on a July afternoon and has been held since 1990. It begins at the Pálmaces reservoir, connecting the race from the start to the village, the water, and the surrounding mountains.
The organizers describe the course as one of the most challenging on Spain’s national triathlon calendar. Hundreds of triathletes of various ages participate in Pálmaces each summer, drawing competitors from across Spain and internationally. The event also serves a local aim: to introduce sport to younger generations, not only to those already competing on demanding courses.
