TriTour Tossa de Mar marks the end of the Catalonia circuit in Tossa de Mar, Girona. It is the only TriTour event featuring a swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Participants can choose between Sprint and Olympic distances. The Sprint combines a 750m sea swim with a 19km mountain bike course and a 5km run. The Olympic distance doubles the swim to 1.5km, extends the bike leg to 41km, and concludes with a 10km run. The race takes place alongside Tossa de Mar's historic walled old town, lending a distinct coastal atmosphere to the start and race environment.
The course presents unique characteristics: an open sea swim, a mountain bike segment, and a completely flat run. Thousands of spectators attend annually, creating a community atmosphere alongside the triathlon. Entry covers essential race provisions: a timing chip, bib, participant identification, a silicone swim cap, an official shirt, aid stations on the course and at the finish line, bag storage in the transition area, showers and changing facilities at the Anna Esteve Llach Sports Zone, online tracking, race photography, medical support, a participant bag with local and sponsor items, a finisher's medal, and a diploma.
