Ultra-Trail Guara Somontano begins and ends in Alquézar, a medieval village in Huesca, Spain, located in the Pre-Pyrenean region of Aragon. This event takes place in autumn within the Sierra de Guara, offering races from 17 to 82 kilometers, allowing participants to select a shorter mountain trail or a full ultra-distance course.
The courses traverse the limestone canyon terrain surrounding Alquézar and go near the clear rivers characteristic of this area of the Sierra de Guara. The event features the 82 km Ultra-Trail Guara Somontano, the 48 km Vuelta a Sevil, the 30 km Trail Rio Vero, and the 17 km Trail Alquézar Rosado. Now in its sixteenth edition, Alquézar is deeply connected to the event, contributing to a village-wide trail festival atmosphere rather than just a start and finish point.
