Albi Run Urbain takes place in mid-April in Albi, located in the Tarn department of Occitanie, southern France. Participants can choose between 8 km and 12 km road races, both following a single-loop course. The event also offers an 8 km Nordic walk, races for children and juniors, a handisport course, and team entries, catering to a diverse range of participants beyond solo runners.
The race route remains within the city limits, highlighting Albi’s historical sites and encouraging participants to explore the local area. Recent events saw solid participation, with over 500 runners in the 12 km race and over 400 in the 8 km race. Post-race, notable Albi attractions include Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, the old town's medieval streets, and the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. The Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park is also accessible for those extending their visit.
