Cap en rose - Capbreton 2026

Cap en rose is a Pink October solidarity walk and run in Capbreton, on the Landes coast of southwest France. It begins at the Halles, the covered market on Allées Marines, sending a wave of pink through the town streets. The event supports women affected by breast cancer, with proceeds going to Hope Team East, a local association that uses sport to help improve the health of people living with cancer. This is not a timed race; participation is emphasized over pace. Entrants can choose a 10 km run, a 5 km walk or run, or the free 1 km Péchounets race for children. The city of Capbreton organizes it with Hope Team East, and the field is deliberately broad: families, walkers, runners, first-timers, and supporters all share the same start area. Registration is handled before race day, with online sign-up and a final in-person window the day before.
