Course des Embruns is an 11.2 km road race in Sausset-les-Pins, located on the Mediterranean coast of Bouches-du-Rhône in southern France. The race begins at 9:00 AM, situated between the seafront and nearby low hills. With 70 meters of elevation gain, it is short enough for ambitious amateurs yet provides a challenging course for stronger runners.
The route follows roads along the sea and through natural landscapes, deviating from a typical flat city circuit. Race results have been recorded since at least 2012. The course records highlight the speed of top competitors: Fouad Latreche achieved 35:27 for men, and Mélody Julien holds the women's record at 39:56. Since 2019, the race has implemented an environmental initiative on its coastal path by using compostable and biodegradable cardboard cups at aid stations, and participants are given a gift.
