Foulées Viroises

The Foulées Viroises is a road-running series held in Vire, Calvados, Normandy. It features a main 5 km race, a 10 km race, and shorter races for children. The distances range from 550 meters to 10 km, accommodating school-age runners and adults seeking a standard road distance. The 5 km race begins the morning's events, followed by the 10 km, with the youth races scheduled for later. The event is organized by USM Vire athlétisme, also known as UUSM Vire. The 10 km race commences at Stade Pierre-Compte, with a redesigned course now forming an urban circuit through Vire. Recent editions have attracted hundreds of participants of all ages, including nearly 250 starters for the 10 km race. The event has already surpassed its 35th edition.
