Foulées de l'amitié begins on Rue Sadi Carnot in Béthune, northern France, and concludes on the Grand’Place. This Sunday road race takes place in late October, organized by Artois Athlétisme and the City of Béthune, offering 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km distances suitable for both novice and seasoned runners. The course winds through central Béthune via Rue A. France and Rue Ponnelle, passing Place de Gaulle before entering the Parc de la Gare d’Eau, then looping back to the town center. The 10 km race consists of two laps of the 5 km route, featuring a hydration station midway and refreshments available for all participants at the finish line. Winners are awarded trophies, all registered runners receive a commemorative gift, and one euro from each registration fee is donated to Orpheopolis, aiding orphans of police officers.
