La Corrida de Noël du Pouliguen guides runners through three circuits of narrow streets and portside roads in Le Pouliguen, a seaside commune in Loire-Atlantique. This Christmas road race covers approximately 9.75 km, beginning in the afternoon from Quai Jules Sandeau near the bridge and concluding at Salle André Ravache, also identified as the town’s events and sports hall.
The repeating circuits keep the race near the port rather than leading runners far from town, allowing spectators multiple views of the field. Costumes are encouraged, adding a festive atmosphere without altering the straightforward format: a short road race, bib collection before the start, followed by awards for the top men and women, age-group winners, and the leading club team. This race is among the more established French events of its Christmas corrida kind.
