La Provençale Cyclo is a new cyclosportive based in Manosque, southern France, with its first edition planned for late June. It is designed for road cyclists: approximately 1,000 participants are expected, choosing between two marked routes through Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, situated between the Luberon and the Montagne de Lure.
The challenging option, La Lure, covers 165 km with 3,000 m of elevation gain, ascending to the summit of the Montagne de Lure. The shorter La Papou route is 87 km with 1,200 m of climbing, offering a more accessible ride through the Luberon and its undulating landscape. The event crosses 21 communes, featuring a cycling village in Manosque with music, food, beverages, activities, and an awards ceremony following the rides.
