La Reinette 2026

La Reinette is a women-only 7 km road event near Rouen in Seine-Maritime, Normandy, offering both a run and a walk. It takes place in early October, starting from the Hall des sports on rue du Bois Bagnères. The format is straightforward: one distance, suitable for running or walking, with a connection to La Ligue contre le Cancer and a distinctive pink bib. The course covers 7 km through the town's streets, emphasizing participation, groups, and shared effort over a complex race structure. Participants can enter individually, join a women's category separate from the main challenge, or register as a group, with awards for the five largest groups. A Duo option is also available, with pairs ranked separately and awards for the best duos in both the run and walk. Now in its later teen editions, the event anticipates around 2,400 participants, giving it the atmosphere of a large, community-focused event supporting a cause.
