La souessoise

La Souessoise is a small race weekend in Soues, France, held during the Fêtes de Soues in late June. Children race on Saturday. Sunday morning offers four adult events: a 5 km run at 08:30, a 10 km run at 09:00, a timed 10 km walk at 09:05, and a 6 km hike at 09:10. The setup accommodates mixed groups as runners, walkers, hikers, and children each have their own event. Entry fees are modest, with advance prices lower for the 5 km, 10 km run, and timed walk. The 6 km hike maintains the same price regardless of sign-up timing. Registration is available online, by post, and on site during the weekend, contributing to the event's practical local-festival atmosphere.
