Labass’trail is a small trail event in Arros-de-Nay, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques of southwest France, with the start and finish at Place de Parelh. Runners choose a timed trail with a split for either 8 km or 13 km, while walkers have a non-timed 5 km option. The longer trail packs 475 meters of climbing into 13 km, and even the walk is hilly, with 250 meters of elevation gain.
The route uses paths around old quarries and former stonemason areas, so the race is tied closely to the working history of the Labassères neighborhood. The Labassères festival committee organizes the day, caps the timed trail at 400 participants, and limits that race to runners aged 16 and over. On-site registration is only available for the walk, and the committee offers a post-race meal for an extra fee.
