Loon-Plage, j'y cours is a road race held in June in Loon-Plage, Nord department, Hauts-de-France. It is structured as a series of races, not a single event. Distances include 1 km for children, 1.7 km for Benjamins, 3.4 km for Minimes, 5.6 km for Cadets and older participants in the public race, and 11 km for the main event. Les Foulées Loonoises organizes the races, which take place throughout the afternoon, starting with the shortest and concluding with the 5.6 km race.
The courses incorporate local areas such as Crapas, the park, and the pond. Younger participants complete a single short circuit. Benjamins run one lap covering Crapas and the pond. Minimes run two laps. The 11 km race consists of three laps of Crapas, Parc, and Etang. The 5.6 km race uses two laps with a modified park section. Entry requirements adhere to French athletics regulations: licensed runners must present their license, while non-licensed runners require a Pass Prevention Santé certificate. Minors need a health questionnaire.
