The Mc Arthur Glen Run begins at the McArthurGlen Paris-Giverny outlet village in Douains, Eure department, Normandy. This charity road-running event offers two distances: 5 km for a brief effort, or 10 km for a longer morning run. The race welcomes all skill levels, with reasonable entry fees and a welcoming, family atmosphere set against the Norman countryside.
The course follows local roads and forest trails before going through the outlet village, providing more variety than a typical town circuit. It features straightaways, turns requiring leg engagement, and a final section encouraging runners to increase their pace. Proceeds benefit Les Fontaines de l’Abbé Pierre Marlé, an organization assisting those in need. The event typically includes a music warm-up led by Fitness Arena, awards for different age groups, participant gifts, and post-race activities; Alexis Hanquinquant, a Paralympic triathlon champion, has previously been the event's patron.
