Odysséa Dijon 2026

Odysséa Dijon is the Dijon stop of Odysséa, a French charity race-and-walk series raising money for breast cancer research and patient support. The local program includes a 10 km race, a 5 km race, a 5 km walk, and a 1 km children’s race, with connected options for people doing the 10 km or 5 km remotely. It is built for runners, walkers, families, and supporters rather than only for fast club athletes. The wider Odysséa movement began in France in 2002, started by international athlete Frédérique Quentin and physiotherapist Frédérique Jules. Its first event gathered 1,000 women on a route between the École militaire and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, then the series spread to cities including Dijon, Nantes, Bayonne, Chambéry, Brest, Toulouse, Auxerre, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and Réunion. Events usually include a donation village, and the money goes to breast cancer research bodies and patient associations; funded help has included projects at Institut Gustave-Roussy and Institut Curie, quality wigs, and childcare costs during chemotherapy.
