Run'in Nord takes place at the 6 Bonniers leisure base in Willems, northern France, set in a natural environment with a schedule running from daytime into the evening. This first edition offers four options: a 12 km run, an 8 km hike, a 1 km children's race, and a 6-hour challenge on a 6 km loop. The concept is straightforward: run, walk, or continuously circle the course for as long as your endurance and strategy permit.
The 12 km is the primary running event, manageable yet timed, requiring a consistent pace to finish within the time limit. The 8 km hike shares the outdoor setting at a more relaxed pace, and children have their own short 1 km race. The unique element is the 6-hour loop race: participants repeatedly run the 6 km circuit, track their laps, conserve energy, and cross the finish line as time progresses. The start village centralizes logistics, including bib collection, restrooms, and parking, while aid stations operate with an eco-conscious approach, requiring participants to provide their own cup.
