Trail du Noble Joué is a mid-June trail running event held in Esvres-sur-Indre, located in France’s Centre-Val de Loire region. It offers three adult race distances: 6 km, 13 km, and 22 km. This event is a small-to-medium local race, not a large city event, with the adult field limited to 900 participants. Separate courses are available for children and juniors.
The races commence on Allée du Comte Odart, winding through the natural landscape surrounding Esvres-sur-Indre. In previous years, the shorter adult race attracted approximately 170 runners, the middle distance around 350, and the long race about 380. This configuration ensures a substantial field for each distance without feeling overcrowded. The children's race is 1 km, free to enter, and capped at 100 young participants. Adults pay modest entry fees, and registration is not available on the day of the race. A distinctive local tradition is the finish gift: each runner receives a bottle of AOC Touraine Noble Joué, a rosé wine connected to the region's vineyards.
