Trail du tortillon - Bon-Encontre

Trail du Tortillon is a trail-running series in Bon-Encontre, Lot-et-Garonne, southwest France. The event provides three adult distances: 8 km, 15 km, and 30 km, along with a free 1 km children’s race. It focuses on short, hilly trail routes instead of flat road racing; even the shortest adult route gains over 250 meters in elevation. The race names add local character: the 8 km is Le Tortillon, the 15 km is Le Calvaire, and the 30 km is Le Fardeau. Le Fardeau is the most challenging option, featuring over 1000 meters of climbing across 30 km. Le Calvaire includes more than 500 meters of elevation gain in half that distance. The children’s race, Le Petit Tortillon, broadens the event beyond a runners-only trail gathering, with recent participation exceeding 400 individuals.
