Moorathon Calf & Hen K 2027

Moorathon Calf & Hen K begins at a base camp within Hyde Hall Farm near Buntingford, with participants remaining on the farm grounds instead of running a town-road course. This March event, themed around a farm setting, offers 10K, half marathon, full marathon, and ultra marathon distances, with the main start scheduled for 9:00am. Now in its fourth edition, the event's format centers on individuals running various distances concurrently. The course is a loop comprising trail, grass, and some tarmac sections, requiring runners to complete multiple laps rather than a single point-to-point route. A standard half marathon consists of five laps, with the possibility to extend to six or seven laps on the day. The ultra distance is nine laps as standard, with extensions possible if time permits. The farm venue provides a contained environment, attracting both first-time 10K, half marathon, marathon, and ultra runners, as well as those returning to run with the same organizer.
