Run Garioch 2026

Run Garioch is an annual springtime running event held at Garioch Sports Centre in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. It caters to a broad range of local runners. Adults can select from the Mackie's 5K, the Cala 10K, or the McWilliam Lippe Half Marathon. Younger participants have CP&Co. Junior Runs over distances of 200m, 400m, 800m, and a mile. The races use chip timing, race packs are mailed beforehand, and registration is exclusively online, with no race day sign-ups. The half marathon, 13.1 miles, runs from Inverurie into the Garioch countryside, featuring some moderate inclines. Its field is limited to 600 runners, and charity partners receive guaranteed entries after general registration closes. The event village offers a central point for runners, spectators, and volunteers, with food and family activities. The main races award podium and age-group prizes. Run Garioch also generates funds for Garioch Sports Centre and local charities, providing a tangible community benefit alongside the competition.
