Első Debrecen Maraton

Nagyerdei krt. anchors the Első Debrecen Maraton, with Hall Debrecen serving as the race hub and the city’s sights, historic buildings, and atmospheric squares integrated into the route. This is the first one-lap asphalt marathon in Debrecen, designed with the spirit of a local running meet-up rather than a hard-edged championship, welcoming sports people, keen amateurs, kids, pairs, and teams onto the same streets. A straightforward road-running experience is expected. The marathon is also open to pair and four-person relays, promising activity around the handoffs and finish area. The event includes charity and kids’ runs, and a unique award is given to the company or organization with the most registered participants.
