Below Solymári Vár, the second edition heads out on the edge of the Buda hills with the character of a true trail-running day. It is built around "close-to-nature routes," mixing adult and children’s starts, easy family efforts, middle-load running, and harder options for people who want to work a bit more.
Underfoot, expect forest dirt road and asphalt sections rather than a pure road race, with markings by painted arrows, ribbons, and signs. Longer runs require carrying a phone and water, which indicates the course gets far enough from the finish area to feel like a proper outing. The field should be broad, from beginners and relaxed runners to 60+ athletes and kids, and the environmentally conscious setup is a nice practical touch rather than a gimmick.
