Below Solymár Castle, on the edge of the Buda hills, this second-edition race offers a genuine trail day feel, accommodating all levels of effort. It is a "trail-running style event" with "nature-close routes," drawing participants from children to those over 70, and offering choices from a relaxed family pace to challenging terrain.
The course incorporates forest dirt roads and asphalt sections, leading to varied pacing rather than a continuous woodland run. Navigation relies on painted arrows, ribbons, and signs. Runners on longer courses are equipped with a phone and water bottle. The start and finish are located below the castle. The participant mix is expected to be diverse: beginners, adults, children, runners over 60, and individuals seeking moderate or more demanding efforts, all within an environmentally mindful event that provides medals for all finishers and food at the conclusion.
