Nagybörzsöny Youth Camp serves as the starting point for a demanding day in the Börzsöny. The race begins deep within the forest, leading directly onto more rugged, untamed trails. Triton Trail seems designed for those who prefer sustained mountain running over short, quick laps; the description "the wildly romantic Börzsöny awaits you" captures the essence. The course consists of three loops returning to the race center: lower, middle, and upper. Each loop includes sufficient elevation gain to necessitate careful pacing from the outset. Runners will navigate marked forest paths along the Börzsöny's "mysterious, adventurous paths." The event features a small, strictly capped field, chip timing, aid stations and finish line support, showers and bag storage at the base, and a custom wooden finisher medal upon completion.
