Below Solymári Castle, the second running takes place on the edge of the Buda hills, offering a trail-running character rather than a pure road-race feel. It is designed around "near-nature routes," mixed categories, and attracts participants including families, beginners, relaxed runners, those seeking tougher efforts, and older runners.
Expect forest dirt roads with some asphalt sections, making shoes with a bit of grip advisable even if it is not full mountain terrain. The route is marked with painted arrows, ribbons, and signs. Longer-course runners should carry water and a phone. The finish includes chip timing, refreshments, warm food, a shirt, and the tradition of every finisher receiving a medal. Entry is online only, and the event is run with an eco-conscious approach.
