XVIII. NN Ultrabalaton

Annagora Aquapark serves as the race hub, from which the task is straightforward: one full lap around Lake Balaton. Now in its 18th edition, the XVIII. NN Ultrabalaton holds the distinction of being “Central Europe’s longest running race.” It is also a collective endurance endeavor, with solo runners, pairs, small teams, and larger squads tackling the same circuit through various formats. The course proceeds from Balatonfüred towards the Balatonboglár Nyugat point, then returns toward the finish. This layout means participants spend considerable time measuring themselves against the lake, unlike a compact city-loop course. Solo runners have the option of a bike escort, highlighting the event's scale. The participant field is diverse yet focused, featuring men's, women's, and mixed teams competing alongside solo runners aiming to complete the entire lap on their own.
