6 per Sempre Fino All’ultimo is an elimination running race held at the Gesso and Stura river park in Cuneo. Runners do not run a single fixed distance; instead, they repeatedly return to the start for another 6 km loop until the time limit catches them. This format originates from an American-style endurance challenge and favors consistent pacing over pure speed. The initial lap allows one hour, with the permitted time decreasing by one minute on each subsequent repeat. Those who finish within the time limit begin the next lap alongside the other remaining runners.
The course follows a mixed-surface circuit within the river park, meaning the race is structured around repeated laps rather than a point-to-point journey. Only two individuals are declared winners: the male and female runner who complete the most loops before elimination. While prize money is available, the race's unique format also draws notable endurance athletes, including Giorgio Calcaterra, Michele Graglia, Marco Olmo, and Sara Pastore. The event also features music and a fundraising component, with proceeds supporting the association La cura nello Sguardo.
