BIM TRIATHLON OLIMPICO

The BIM Triathlon Olimpico is an Olympic-distance triathlon held in Bellaria Igea Marina, on Italy’s Adriatic coast. It is part of the regional triathlon circuit and awards the regional championship title for the Olympic format. The race consists of a 1,500-meter swim, a 40-kilometer bike ride, and a 10-kilometer run. The women begin racing in the morning, with the men starting shortly after. The transition area opens early and closes before the race begins. The race notes detail the athlete schedule rather than course landmarks, providing a clear outline of a compact race day. Packet pickup is available on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday morning. Check-in occurs before the separate starts, and athletes must remove their transition gear by mid-afternoon. Following the race, a pasta party is provided for competitors and guests, concluding with an awards ceremony.
