CAUT, the Curnis Auta Trail, is a trail running series in Italy’s Grana Valley, with races centered in Pradleves, Cuneo province. The primary 80 km race goes from Caraglio to Pradleves, ascending 4,500 metres and following the valley crest for its entire length. A 35 km race runs from Castelmagno to Pradleves, featuring 2,000 metres of ascent and 3,000 metres of descent. Additionally, a 15 km race starts and ends in Pradleves, with 1,000 metres of climbing.
The three distances provide distinct experiences of the area's terrain: the 80 km crosses the full ridge, the 35 km covers the upper Curnis Auta, and the 15 km delves into the Grana Valley's lesser-known lower sections. Entry numbers are restricted to 100 for the 80K and 120 each for the 35K and 15K. The 80K and 35K races are UTMB qualifiers, corresponding to the 100K and 50K categories, respectively.
