Marathon de Vérone

The Marathon de Vérone begins at Piazzale Olimpia, near Stadio Marcantonio-Bentegodi, just outside central Verona in northern Italy. Participants can select the full 42 km marathon, a 21 km half marathon, or a 10 km Family Run, accommodating both dedicated distance runners and those seeking a shorter run. The marathon and half marathon routes depart the stadium vicinity, venturing into the plains surrounding Verona before looping back towards the city. The course utilizes minor roads, traces the Adige River, and crosses Verona’s historic core, interspersed with more secluded stretches outside the urban area. This course offers a blend of city roads, riverside paths, and open country, with Verona's association with Romeo and Juliet present but not dominating the experience.
