Mezza Maratona della Ceramica Città di Assemini

The Mezza Maratona della Ceramica Città di Assemini begins and ends on the Coghinas athletics track in Assemini, Sardinia. This is a road half marathon covering the standard 21.097 km distance, run on a FIDAL-approved circuit and organized by A.S.D. Gruppo Polisportivo Assemini with support from the Municipality of Assemini. The race program also includes a FIDAL-approved 10 km and a non-competitive 5 km city run, with starts scheduled for an October Sunday morning. The half marathon is structured around three 7 km laps, with runners passing through the athletics track on each lap before returning to the city streets. The 10 km follows a single-loop course designed to be fast and direct, beginning with a full lap of the track before exiting the stadium. The field is primarily club-based: Italian runners require current FIDAL registration, while foreign athletes need affiliation with a World Athletics member federation and permission to race abroad. Following the finish, the event hosts awards and a lunch for participating athletes at the venue, with meal tickets available for companions.
