The Primiero Dolomiti Marathon is a mountain running event held in the Primiero area of the Dolomites. The 42K race begins in Val Canali and concludes in Fiera di Primiero. The event also features 26K and 16K races, alongside a 6.5K non-competitive run, catering to marathoners, shorter-distance runners, and those preferring a less intense participation.
The primary course crosses from the Val Canali valley to Fiera di Primiero, uniting various races at the finish line. Over 2,000 participants from 35 countries have entered, comprising both competitive athletes and hundreds of non-competitive runners. US Primiero organizes the event; recent editions have acknowledged the race's 10th anniversary and the club's 60th anniversary. The 42K has seen notable achievements, such as Italo Cassol's sub-three-hour course record and Barbara Bani's third victory.
