The RunRivieraRun Half Marathon is a 21.097 km road race held annually along Italy’s Ligurian coast, beginning in Finale Ligure and concluding in Loano. This town-to-town half marathon receives support from the Province of Savona and the municipalities of Finale Ligure, Borgio Verezzi, Pietra Ligure, and Loano. The race connects local tourism with running, aiming to unite sport, health, nutrition, and the Savona coastline within a single weekend.
The course departs Finale Ligure, crossing Varigotti, Finalmarina, Finalpia, and Finalborgo before proceeding through Borgio Verezzi and Pietra Ligure, incorporating both seaside stretches and historic town streets. Participants then reach Loano via its central district, finishing at Marina di Loano, the updated harbor. The event covers a two-day Expo at the Santa Caterina monumental complex in Finalborgo. Here, runners collect their bibs and race packs, and the schedule may feature talks, book launches, demonstrations, and massage services. The series expanded beyond the half marathon to include Tune Up RRR races, the BiBiEpic Race, and two RunRivieraRun teams.
