Spartan Belluno-Nevegal takes place on a late-June weekend on the Nevegal plateau, situated above Belluno in northern Italy. This event utilizes mountain terrain, distinct from a flat festival field. Participants can select from the 5 km Sprint featuring 20 obstacles, the 10 km Super with 25 obstacles, the 21 km Beast with 30 obstacles, or a Kids Race covering 1 to 3 km.
The course guides athletes through dense woods, challenging ascents, ridgelines, and high-altitude meadows towards Col Visentin. The Dolomites UNESCO landscape is visible from a viewpoint known locally as the “Terrace on the Dolomites.” Racers travel from international locations, including Thailand and the United States, to compete. The event includes standard obstacles like the Atlas Carry, A-Frame Cargo, Barbed Wire Crawl, Hercules Hoist, Spear Throw, Multi-Rig, and concludes with a fire jump. As a Trifecta Weekend, athletes have the opportunity to complete the Sprint, Super, and Beast races within the same weekend to earn the Trifecta.
