The Synlab Como Lake Half Marathon begins and ends at Villa Olmo in Como, with the finish line situated before the neoclassical villa and its expansive park. This December road race offers two distances: the officially certified 21.0975 km half marathon and a 5 km option for participants seeking the same event atmosphere without the full half-marathon challenge. The half marathon departs from central Como, tracing the Lake Como branch past Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Carate Urio, and Laglio before looping back to Villa Olmo. The course is FIDAL-certified, though not designed for personal bests because of its rolling terrain along the lake and inclines that demand careful pacing. Cernobbio features Villa Erba as an additional route landmark, and by the mid-2020s, the event had already marked its 13th running.
