Triathlon Olimpico Marina di Castegneto Carducci

DONOTRI - Triathlon Olimpico is an Olympic-distance triathlon held at Marina di Castagneto Carducci on the Tuscan coast. The race hub is located at Piazzale Magellano and Lido Shangri-L. It takes place in May, beginning in the early afternoon with the men's start preceding the women's. Firenze Triathlon ASD organizes the event alongside Donoratika ASD, and it is included in the Coppa Toscana series. The race begins with a 1,500 m swim, divided into two 750 m laps, conducted in the sea adjacent to the free beach near Piazzale Magellano. The 40 km bike course heads inland along the Strada del Vino and passes through the cypress-lined avenue of Bolgheri, the most notable part of the route. The concluding 10 km run remains within the pine forest of Marina di Castagneto Carducci; its shaded environment suggests a consistent pace rather than a hurried conclusion. This is its second edition, featuring a concise schedule that includes registration, transition setup, briefing, the race itself, and awards presented in the late afternoon.
