Run&Smile is a 10 km running event in Porto San Giorgio, a seaside town in Italy's Marche region. The main start is at 9:00 AM, with race information placing the start and finish around Lungomare Gramsci Centro and another source naming Piazza Bambinopoli as the starting point. The program offers runners several options: a competitive 10 km or 10.01 km race, a timed non-competitive 10 km, a shorter non-competitive option, and a Family Run for a 3.5 km or 10 km recreational walk.
The competitive race is primarily for registered athletes from Italian sports associations, and it also serves as a regional absolute championship race and a round of the master team championship. The same day includes the Referee Run, a championship race for referees, with its final stage linked to this event. Entries come from across Italy, especially Umbria, Tuscany, and Lazio, and organizers anticipate around 1,500 participants. The race kit is notably local and practical: an event T-shirt, sunglasses, a pack of Maccheroncini Igp di Campofilone, and a bottle of beer.
